ABSTRACT: Calling Number Delivery (CND), a CLASS feature, is a service intended for residential and small business telephone customers. It allows called Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) to receive a calling party's Directory Number (DN) and the date and time of the call during the ringing cycle. This GR defines the view of Telcordia on generic requirements for CND for residential and small business customers.

GR-31 replaces TR-NWT-000031, Issue 4, but contains NO TECHNICAL CHANGES from that original document. It has been issued strictly to conform with the new Telcordia Technologies document format and GR process, and carries a new issue number and date.
