This document describes the view of Telcordia on generic requirements for a Stored Program Control switching System (SPCS) to provide Call Screening for analog telephone lines. Call Screening is a SPCS service that allows a customer, after having a call forwarded from his or her line, to monitor and intercept the forwarded call.
