ABSTRACT: This document presents the view of Telcordia on generic criteria for an operations communications interface between the Wireless Access Communications Systems (WACS's) Radio Port Control Unit (RPCU) and a management Operations System (OS) using the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) management services and protocols defined in ISO/IEC IS 9596 (Common Management Information Protocol).

Specifically, this document proposes an information model to be used for Operations System/Network Element (OS/NE) communications between a managing OS and the RPCU.
