ABSTRACT: This document provides the view of Telcordia on generic engineering and technical requirements for Aerial Hybrid Coaxial Drop/Twisted Pair Aerial Drop Cable, that should meet the typical needs of a Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) or other service provider. Included in this GR are functional design criteria, generic mechanical and electrical requirements, desired features, and test methods for comparing the product against the stated generic requirements.
