ABSTRACT: This document provides the requirements and objectives for installing System Software in all new Stored Program Control switching Systems (SPCS's). Specifically, two processes for System Software, i.e., retrofits and overwrites, are discussed. There are many similar steps in both processes; nevertheless, each procedure is discussed independently in order to avoid confusion.
