ABSTRACT: This document provides the view of Telcordia on generic requirements for the Prompted Automatic Callback Feature. Prompted Automatic Callback (PAC) is an originating Stored Program Control switching System (SPCS) feature that provides customers with convenient activation of the CLASS Automatic Callback (AC) feature upon detection of a busy condition. It enables residential and business customers to access AC without having to hang up and dial the AC activation code. PAC is available for Dual-Tone MultiFrequency (DTMF) and Dial Pulse (DP) sets.
