ORDERING INFORMATION
ABSTRACT: GR-600 replaces TR-NWT-000600, Issue 1 and its Revision 1, but contains NO TECHNICAL CHANGES from that original document. It has been
issued strictly to conform with the new Telcordia Technologies document format and GR process, and carries a new issue number and date.
For your convenience, Revision 1 has been interfiled into GR-600-CORE.
The Private Facility Access (PFAC) feature provides the method to access and use private facilities that are shared among members of
a Basic Business Group (BBG). Due to this sharing, a given originating or terminating call needs some means of associating a private
facility with a Business Group Line (BGL) or another private facility. Two mechanisms are provided to fill this need for originations:
dial access and access via a routing feature. In dial access, the caller goes off-hook and dials an access code that has been
designated for this purpose within the Business Group Dialing Plan (BGDP). In access via a routing feature, the caller goes off-hook
and dials the access code for the routing feature and then the address. In terminations, the switch either accepts digits (e.g., an
intercom code) from the private facility, or automatically routes the call to a predesignated destination (e.g., an attendant). This
Generic Requirements document (GR) describes the view of Telcordia on generic requirements for the Private Facility Access feature.
GR-600, GR-601, GR-602, GR-603, GR-604, GR-605, GR-610, GR-620, GR-621, and GR-632 replaced
