ABSTRACT:
Operations functions include memory and system administration, network maintenance (surveillance and access and testing), network traffic management, and measurements and data generation. In addition, such technology includes generic requirements for operations interfaces, user system interfaces, generic operations interfaces, operations application messages, and embedded operation interfaces. This Generic Requirements (GR) document gives the view of Telcordia on Generic Test Architecture for circuit testing, and the framework for Telcordia generic requirements for Test System Controller/Remote Test Units (TSC/RTUs), Metallic Test Access Units (MTAUs), and Digital Test Access Units (DTAUs).

The following documents were fully or partly replaced by GR-818: TR-NWT-000818, TA-TSY-000095, TA-TSY-000096, and TA-TSY-000099.
