ABSTRACT: This presents the view of Telcordia on generic requirements for Network Elements (NEs) and Test System Controller/Remote Test Units (TSC/RTUs) supporting Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) Basic Rate Access (BRA) testing. It identifies functions and features that, in the view of Telcordia, should be included in the Test System Controller/Remote Test Unit, ISDN switch, and/other NEs, (such as Digital Loop Carrier system components) to support BRA testing.
