ABSTRACT: This document provides the Telcordia view of generic requirements for operations features for Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) Basic and Primary Rate Interface (BRI and PRI) capabilities in switching systems. It also includes generic requirements for the interfaces between such switching systems and Operations Systems (OS's).

Revision 1 provides modifications to the B-channel Management procedures and its relationship with restart procedures. In addition, it defines new requirements to address the composite relationship among access lines, B-channels, and D-channels.
