This Technical Reference provides the Telcordia view of a comprehensive set of software quality generic requirements necessary for improved quality and reliability of the software systems used in telecommunications networks. A Quality System Analysis (QSA) using this TR is an on-site review of the supplier's documented quality system to assess the capability of that system to provide software and software systems that conform to a typical purchaser's requirements. The analysis considers how well the supplier adheres to its own documented quality system, and how well the supplier's quality system addresses the requirements in this document.
