ABSTRACT: This Technical Reference (TR) contains the view of Telcordia on the generic requirements applicable to the Intercept Database (INDB). The INDB contains information about intercepted Directory Numbers (e.g., vacant or disconnected numbers). This document describes the required INDB services, the architecture, the data storage requirements, and the query processing requirements. In addition, it describes the INDB administration, relevant interconnections, and performance (i.e., availability, response times, and capacity) requirements. An INDB Data Catalog, which describes the meaning and use of each INDB data field, is also included.
