ABSTRACT: This Technical Reference (TR) contains the view of Telcordia on the generic requirements applicable to the Operator Reference Database (ORDB). The ORDB is accessed by the operator to retrieve operator reference material such as rate information, routing codes, emergency numbers, official Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) numbers, and dialing instruction information. This document contains the ORDB storage requirements, interface requirements, performance requirements and objectives, and the requirements associated with the ORDB administrative system.
