ABSTRACT: This Technical Reference (TR) provides the Telcordia view of generic requirements and objectives for optical power meter that should be met in order to meet the typical needs of Local Exchange Carriers (LECs) and other service providers. The TR includes general operational and mechanical requirements and objectives, performance requirements and performance tests to compare optical power meters against the stated requirements.
