ABSTRACT: This Technical Reference (TR) provides the Telcordia view of generic requirements and objectives for fiber optic stabilized light sources that should be met in order to meet the typical needs of Local Exchange Carriers (LECs). The TR includes general operational and mechanical requirements and objectives, performance requirements and performance tests to compare fiber optic stabilized light sources against the stated requirements.
