This Technical Reference (TR) provides the view of Telcordia on generic requirements for a low-power telecommunications rectifier/power supply, which meets the telecommunications power systems needs of a typical Local Exchange Carrier (LEC). The rectifier/power supply described in this document is intended to power telecommunications equipment, such as digital-loop carrier equipment, repeaters, and Integrated Services digital Network (ISDN) equipment, etc., distributed throughout the network.
